As the Finish Line Approaches

Sometimes you are in a race, and there is a finish line that you race towards.

Other times the finish line races towards you. We’ve been running this race for a while now, and everything was pacing perfectly.

All of a sudden, we went for a routine check and were told that Susan needed to be under observation. It’s been two days and we got the news that our baby will be born in the next few days.

As we sit looking out the big window at the golden leaves blowing in the wind, all I can think is that a win is a win and as long as mom and baby are healthy, we have won.

So we appreciate all the prayers and kind words as the finish line races towards us, it can be a little scary and much sooner than we expected, but we look forward to meeting the little man of the hour.

Cheers to you little guy, all you do is win.
